Learning about Different Countries

This lesson is geared towards 3rd Grade (but can be used in higher grades).

What could be more exciting than exploring countries and cultures other than your own? 

This is a question that I would like the class to consider while navigating through this activity.

Here’s why:

* Many people can identify the capital of the United States.

* Some can describe the most popular cities that make up our country.

* Others can locate the US on a World map.

BUT:

Can you say the same for other Countries around the World?

Many individuals cannot!

That is why I would like for the class to explore and learn about other countries other than our own.

For you never know when you may be traveling to one of these places one day….
